A: I personally teach guitar, bass, ukulele and mandolin. I refer all other requests to area teachers who specialize in keyboards, drums, violin and all other instruments. I conduct periodic clinics where attendees learn how to restring, set up and properly care for their instruments. There IS a right way to do it and I show you how.
I also offer ear training and songwriting clinics. Every student is different and I always try to be sensitive to each student’s temperament and intellect. I never talk down to kids. My job goes beyond teaching guitar and bass. I believe my job also includes empowering young people, helping them build confidence, setting realistic goals and allowing them to express themselves in non-destructive ways.
